Mule Deer Lodge
Our lodge is named after one of British Columbia’s most magnificent wildlife species, the mule deer. A close relative of the white-tailed deer, the mule deer gets its name from its long mule-like ears. It is one of the largest and most striking animals of the North American West. The size of their magnificent antlers, accompanied by their grace and power, is a stunning sight to see as they move through the open meadows and forest surrounding our lodge. At all months of the year, mule deer can be spotted along the road leading to our lodge, and are often seen wandering over our property to graze.
