Location and Getting There

Mule Deer Lodge is located approximately 5 ½ hours from Vancouver and can be reached using three different routes. However, the Hurley Forrest Service Road route is closed during the winter. Many of our guests have rented our Lodge for a week or more and made the round about trip to Vancouver and back just to enjoy the scenery the journey provides.
The best and most common route is also the fastest and the most beautiful and takes you through the famous Whistler ski resort where the 2010 Olympics were held. Take Highway 99 from Vancouver to Lillooet and then the Carpenter Lake Road (direction Gold Bridge) to Tyaughton Lake. Near the end of Tyaughton Lake, turn right on Gus Road and our Lodge is the first driveway on the left.
